PRO-RACE ENGINEERING

Sponsorship application

Hello! I’m Andy,

a drag race enthusiast from Austria. First of all I’d like to introduce myself:
I started dragracing around 2009 with my 1.3L engined Honda Civic N/A. I tried it just4fun and from then on I got addicted.

How it all began

Honda Civic 1.3L

The Honda had 75hp(!) from the factory and I had brought it to just under 123hp with original Honda parts. It was my daily car and was initially seen more at car shows. Just4fun I took part in the first drag race (at that time with winter tires instead of slicks – all low budget) and came under the first three places of my category. From then on the addiction began.

I joined forces with a few friends and together we raced in Austria and Hungary under the name „Low Budget Racing“. Together we helped each other again and again with rebuilds and races. You have to say – I’m not a mechanic – taught myself everything learning by doing and luckily have a few helping hands when I need help.

Over the years, more and more trophies were added and I took part in races in Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Croatia, Germany with my Civic. Of course the competition does not sleep and so the Civic got a small performance upgrade about every 2 years.
From the original 75hp it is now 520hp – okay, that may not be much these days – but the block is not even 1400cc!
Such a performance has never been brought out on the small engine before and thus it is
world’s strongest and fastest 1.3L Honda Civic!

Until two years ago the car was still driven on the road – but now the decision was made to make it a pure race car and so it got another cage and weight reduction.
The goal of the car is 10 seconds on the quarter mile – that should be possible in the coming season. The current best time is 11.2 sec with the old setup.

Upcoming setup

  • Weight loss and safety cage
  • new engine setup
  • bigger turbocharger
  • custom intake manifold
  • -> 10sec. run

There is no company behind this project and its successes, but here private investment was made little by little over the years to make it a unique piece.

However, it is time for a new project...

One hand washes the other

What I can offer in return to a sponsorship

I like to take my cars to race events, car meetings, car shows at home and abroad and report almost every event on social media. Of course, a sponsor is mentioned in the posts or I like to stand behind the name in good cooperation and would like to represent the brand Pro-Race Engineering.

Likewise, of course, I would also provide bonding on the race car as well as on the trailer.
But I am open to other suggestions.

A big goal on our bucket list are road trips to racing events in Santa Pod and Malta. But until then there are still numerous events here with us.

Just browse through the profiles to see more about the projects and events:

I hope one of my projects is interesting for you and I am looking forward to a response! If you have any questions feel free to write me a line!
